You know that thing where you consciously understand that you are worthy and “enough” but you struggle to actually believe it? Well, there’s a very real reason for that, so no, you aren’t uniquely broken. Like, at all. It has everything to do with the subconscious part of the mind and how it truly runs our life, behavior, and emotions. Our minds are roughly comprised of 10% conscious faculty and 90% subconscious faculty. That means you can logically, rationally understand something (like worthiness) but if you have a deep-seated belief rooted in the subconscious mind that you most certainly are “not enough”, guess which part of the mind dictates your behaviour? Yup. The whoppin’ 90% subconscious.
Well, shit. What are we supposed to do about that?
Well, the great news is there are ways to reprogram the subconscious (thank god!) and my guest this week is going to spill all the deets. Laura Gevanter works in a specific modality called PSYCH-K® that helps individuals move past the trauma that has created limited beliefs (Like, “I’m not enough”) in order to create new, empowering beliefs. In our chat today, we discuss how much physical distress is rooted in unresolved emotional trauma, how working with the subconscious can aid in quickly changing disempowering beliefs, and how you can start believing that you are actually Enough, Already!
This pod explores:
- The two common areas where the Psych-K modality is used (hint: you probably can relate)
- What the hell muscle testing is and how that is related to our subconscious mind
- Understanding the brain science behind changing limiting beliefs (even if you aren’t a neuroscientist)
- The connection between emotional trauma and physical ailments and what you can do about it

THIS WEEK’S GUESTIE
Laura Gevanter is a PSYCH-K® Facilitator, an Intuitive Coach, Group Workshop Leader and Retreat Host. She has a Psychology degree from the University of Massachusetts and Life Coaching Certification from IPEC in New York City. She has completed the Basic, Advanced and Health & Wellness PSYCH-K™ trainings.
As a former, self-proclaimed self-help junkie she would devour the latest book as if it held the answers to a successful, happy life and found her way into studying brain science, quantum physics, the law of attraction, and how to use energy to transform and manifest. This led her to seek coach training and then PSYCH-K as effective modalities to make that a reality. The foundation of her work is to help increase your level of consciousness, transform limiting beliefs and change the perception of past trauma and stress triggers, so you clear the blocks which are getting in your way.
Connect with Laura on Insta, Facebook, or the Inaura platform where she is a featured guide and teacher.
