EEver find yourself super excited about an opportunity and all of a sudden BOOM! Fear sets in with a vengeance. And then your mind starts spinning with fearful thought after fearful thought. What if I never find a partner? What if they don’t promote me? What if no one will accept me? What if I continue to gain weight? What if they find me out? What if, what if, what if!!! And by this point you have yourself so wrapped up in the emotion of fear that you aren’t even sure if you should go after this new opportunity.

You know this cycle, right? We all do. Why? Because we were actually BORN with a built-in mechanism for fear in order to keep us safe. Before I get all science channel on your ass, have a listen to this episode where I look at the physiological role fear has played in our humanity and how that translates to —> you freaking out over getting another date or not. And most importantly, what do we DO with fear? Have a listen and hear five ways to work with your fear instead of, you know, fearing it.

  • The historical, physiological need for fear
  • How to learn compassion for your emotional responses (as in, your body is only trying to take care of you… geez!!)
